How to Choose Health Club Equipments for Home Gym

Till today, health never seems a topic of worry since the inception of this world, as our ancestors were wise enough to take care of their physical and mental health. They lived in harmony with nature. They were miles away from brisk pace of life. Today’s stressful and hectic life style is acting as deterrent to health. Irony is, first man spends health to earn money and then spends money to earn health. So, if you have decided to give serious thought on your health and want to do regular exercise, then you are on a right path. Finally, you are trying to break that modern life cliche.


Once you have decided to work out, next important thing is knowledge. You should know what different types of work outs are there are. Exercise can be divided in two main parts, Aerobic and Anaerobic. It’s always beneficial if you know the positives and negatives of both these forms, as it will help you to decide which form is more suitable for you. Aerobic is low intensity exercise focusing on meeting energy demand with oxygen. It improves blood circulation and reduces blood pressure. It is efficient in reducing diabetes as well. But it is not useful if you want to build lean muscles. It is only effective for fat loss when used consistently.  So, it will only keep you fit and sound. Anaerobic is intense and its Purpose is muscle building. It is generally carried out by athletes. As it generates lactic acid, its overdose can be detrimental to muscle function. It can also lead to fatigue, that is muscular failure.

After analyzing both the forms, you have facts about them with you. Now depending upon what type of exercise you would like to do, your equipment will vary. Broadly gym equipment come in two main categories, namely strength series and cardio series. Strength series majorly emphasizes on strengthening of muscles. It aims to improve power of your muscles. It includes instruments for chest, back, shoulder, legs and abdomen. For every body part you will have many tools. For example, for chest vertical chest press, dual axis flat bench. For back you will have bar and mid row. Certain tools come which can be used for multipurpose, like power cage. The power cage has many uses. Like, it allows bench press and on other hand, it serves the platform on which athlete can do unusual heavy lifts. Cardio series includes spinning bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines and rowers.  You can buy any of these equipment as per your budget and requirements.
